Aggie School Volunteers
Who are we?
Aggie School Volunteer is a student run organization at Texas A&M University with the goal of enhancing the lives of children by having our members act as a weekly tutor, mentor, or lunch buddy in local public schools. Members have the opportunity to help students in various grade levels, in various ways like tutoring in math, helping teachers or becoming a role model. In addition, ASV also participates in outside volunteering opportunities for members who would like become more involved in the community. Activities may include volunteering at the local school festival or, helping run a book sale. Beside, volunteering, ASV holds fun weekly events and meetings to encourage members to get to know one another better.
